Curry Chicken Recipes
Chicken In Curry
1 chicken (cut in small pieces)
2 tablespoons curry powder
1 small onion (cut fine)
100 ml stock or broth
100 ml milk
Salt and pepper
a. Mix the butter and curry thoroughly together,
and put into the pan with onion.
b. Stew together 4 minutes and then add the stock,
milk, salt and pepper to taste.
c. When this has become smooth, add chicken,
and stir constantly in the sauce.
d. Stewing nine minutes.
e. Serve with rice croquettes.
Curry Chicken Puff
1 young chicken
Pepper and salt
1 onion (cut fine)
100 ml clear stock
1 teaspoon sugar
1 tablespoon curry powder
A little flour
1/2 lemon (juiced)
a. Cut the chicken into pieces.
b. Remove bones and season with pepper,
and salt to taste.
c. Fry them in butter until well done.
d. Add onion and fry till brown.
e. Add the stock and sugar.
f. Mix curry powder, flour and a little of stock,
and rub together until quite smooth. Add to the saucepan.
g. Put in chicken and let it boil for a few minutes.
h. Add lemon juice, just before taking off.
i. Fill the puffs while hot and serve immediately.
j. Garnish with parsley and serve a dish of cold slaw with it.
Note: You may cook with any part of the chicken instead,
of whole chicken, chicken thighs or chicken wings.
