Easy Cake Recipes

Ice Cream Cake One

Ingredients
10 egg whites
300g powdered sugar
120g flour
1 teaspoon cream of tartar

Preparation
a. Beat the egg whites very stiff.

b. Mixed cream of tartar thoroughly,
into the flour before sifting it.

c. Add gradually powdered sugar and flour,
with cream of tartar.

d. Bake in layers in 163°C or 325°F oven,
for about 30 minutes. Be careful not,
to let mixture warm before putting into pans.

Filling
250g sweet cream
1 teaspoon cornstarch
3 egg yolks (well beaten)
1 teaspoon powdered sugar
250g chopped almonds

Action
a. Dissolved cornstarch in a little milk.

b. Bring the cream to boiling point.

c. Add cornstarch milk, egg yolks,
and powdered sugar.

d. While still warm, add chopped almonds,
and fill layers with the warm mixture.

e. Insert halved almonds on top of cake.

Note: Not necessary to be frosted.

Ice Cream Cake Two

Ingredients
100g butter
200g sugar
2 egg yolks (well beaten)
2 egg whites (stiffed)
250 ml milk
180g flour (sifted)
2 level teaspoon baking powder
2 teaspoon cocoa

Action
a. Cream butter and sugar together.

b. Add the well beaten egg yolks, milk,
flour, baking powder, and cocoa.

c. Add the stiffed egg whites.

d. Use butter cream filling.

Tips: You may spread any ice-cream between 2 layers,
of sponge cake (any shapes) and add extra decoration,
before serving.
