Easy Curry

Ingredients
100g fresh meat
2 tablespoons butter
1/4 teaspoon curry powder
1 teaspoon sherry wine
1/8 teaspoon dry mustard

Action
a. Saute the meat in the melted butter.

b. Add curry powder, mustard,
and wine.

c. When very hot, serve,
on small appetizer shell.

Ingredients
Fresh meat
Tabasco sauce
Lemon juice
Olive oil

Action
Mix all and spread upon lightly buttered bread.

Delicious Salad

Ingredients
Fresh meat
Lettuce
A few sprigs of watercress
A little English mustard
1 part of olive oil
1 part of vinegar
Salt and pepper

Action
a. Mix the olive oil, vinegar,
salt, and pepper.

b. Boil the meat.

c. Drain and serve with lettuce,
watercress, and mustard.

d. Garnish with dressing sauce.

Fresh Salad

Ingredients
1 shell fish (cut into pieces)
6 medium sized boiled potatoes (diced)
6 hard boiled eggs (sliced)
8 olives (cut into small pieces
3 small pickles (sliced)
250g walnut meats
1 grated onion

Action
Mix all in a pretty dish and pour,
over a salad dressing.


Lobsters, How to Cook Lobsters

Sauce

Salad Dressing

Ingredients
500 ml vinegar
300g sugar
2 tablespoons dried mustard
2 tablespoons dried flour
1 egg
1 tablespoon melted butter
Salt to taste

Action
a. Boil vinegar.

b. Add mustard, flour, egg,
melted butter, and salt.

c. Stir slowly into the vinegar.

d. When done, let it stand,
until cold.

e. Thin it with sweet cream,
and pour it over salad.

Special Dish
(3 servings)

Ingredients
3 fresh shell fishes
Butter
Tomatoes
Rice
Red peppers
Salt and pepper to taste

Action
a. Remove the meat from the tail,
and cut into 2 cm,
thick pieces.

b. Saute in a pan of butter.

c. Add tomatoes, rice, peppers,
and simmer about 10 minutes.

d. Serve in pretty dish after seasoning,
to taste.

6 Persons Special

Ingredients
1 large shell fish
500g butter
2 tablespoons flour
1 bay leave
1 teaspoon pepper
250g fresh mushrooms
500 ml boiling water
1 small onion (chopped)
1 teaspoon celery seed
1 teaspoon salt

Action
a. In a saucepan, put the butter,
and onion.

b. Cook until the onion,
is slightly browned.

c. Add the flour.

d. When boiling add all the seasonings.

e. Simmer gently for 10 minutes.

f. Strain, add the mushrooms,
and simmer for another 10 minutes.

g. Stand the sauce over hot water,
while you cut the fish into pieces.

h. Put the meat into the sauce,
cover the pan closely and stand it,
over hot water for 10 minutes.

i. Serve on toast in pate shells.

Simple Recipe

Ingredients
1 small lobster
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons flour
1/2 teaspoon cayenne
2 tablespoons lemon juice
500 ml boiling water

Action
a. Cut the meat into dice.

b. Pound the coral with 1 tablespoon butter.

c. Cook together the flour mixed,
with seasonings and the remainder of the butter.

d. Add water and the pounded coral,
and simmer 5 minutes.

e. Strain over the meat,
boil up one and serve.
