Chinese Sweet and Sour Pork Ingredients Pork 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon sugar 1/4 teaspoon corn flour 1/4 teaspoon black soy sauce 250g minced pork meat Preparation a. Mix all together in a bowl, and season for 20 minutes. b. Rub the minced meat mixture into balls. Put aside. Flour Paste 25g corn flour 50g all purpose flour (sifted) 1/2 teaspoon baking powder (sifted) 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/2 egg (beaten) 1 tablespoon vegetable oil 6 tablespoon water Preparation a. Mix all the dry ingredients into a bowl, and open a small hole in the middle, of the flour. b. Pour the egg and oil in the hole, mix all with a wooden spoon. c. Mix water little at a time, and mix till the dough is smooth. Gravy 1 tablespoon sugar 1 tablespoon tomato sauce 125 ml vinegar 1/2 teaspoon corn starch 1/4 teaspoon salt 1 tablespoon vegetable oil 1 garlic (grated) Preparation a. Mix all the ingredients together. Except garlic. b. Stir fry garlic till fragrant, add into the gravy. Chinese Sweet and Sour Pork Others 1 slice canned pineapple (diced) 1 green pepper (cut into cubes) 1 red pepper (cut into cubes) vegetable oil Preparation a. Add oil into the frying pan. b. Add green and red pepper. Stir fry, until fragrant. c. Add pineapple. Action a. Dip the meat balls into the flour paste. b. Heat the oil very hot, and deep fry the meat balls, till golden brown. About 5-6 minutes. c. Cook the gravy till thicken, add peppers and pineapple. d. Mix the fried meat balls in the gravy. e. Serve hot. Note: This pork recipe looks a little complicated, however it is very delicious. It is worth to try!
