Potato Salad

Ingredients
1000g cold potatoes (cooked)
250g cold peas (cooked)
3 firm tomatoes
2 stalks of celery
1 onion (chopped fine)
Salt and Pepper
Lettuce leaves
Rich mayonnaise

Action
a. Cut the potatoes, tomatoes,
and celery into small pieces.

b. Add onion and season with salt,
and pepper.

c. Serve on lettuce leaves,
with a rich mayonnaise.

Baked Potato Recipes

Potatoes One

Ingredients
Large potatoes

Action
a. Scrub potatoes well.

b. Dry and place in a baking dish.

c. Bake in a 180°C or 356°F oven,
for 1-2 hours according to size.

Tips:
A. Potatoes are improved by being steamed,
for about 20 minutes before baking.

B. Large potatoes are best for baking.

Potatoes Two

Action
a. Steam potatoes until the skin peel off easily.

b. Roughen the surface with a fork,
and sprinkle with a little flour and salt.

c. Place them in a pan with 2-3 tablespoons,
of dripping.

d. Bastle often and bake the potatoes,
till brown and tender.

Cheese Potatoes

Ingredients
4 large potatoes
100g grated cheese
Oil
Salt and pepper

Action
a. Bake potatoes, remove ends.

b. Scrape out inside without breaking the shells.

c. Mash and mix with the cheese,
and season with salt and pepper.

d. Refill shells and put on ends,
and bake 15 minutes.

Ingredients
Raw potatoes
Chopped onion
Cream sauce
Cheese

Action
a. Dice potatoes to the amount needed.

b. Add onion to taste and par-boil 5 minutes.

c. Add cheese to the cream sauce.

d. Pour this over the potatoes,
and onion and bake.

Scalloped Potatoes

Ingredients
Boiled potatoes (sliced)
Grated cheese
Flour
125 ml skim milk to 3 potatoes

Action
a. Arrange a layer of potatoes,
in greased shallow baking dish.

b. Sprinkle with grated cheese,
and a little flour.

c. Repeat until dish is nearly full.

d. Pour milk over the whole and bake,
in 180°C or 356°F oven for about 20 minutes.

Baked Potatoes

Ingredients
750g mashed potatoes
2 tablespoons flour
2 tablespoons cooked onions
(finely chopped)
2 tablespoons grated cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
Sprinkle with curry powder (optional)

Action
a. Beat the potaoes and the ingredients together.

b. Shape into pyramids on a greased dish.

c. Bake about 15 minutes until nearly browned.
