Classic Breakfast Recipes with Apple Pie, Whole Wheat Bread, Chocolate Muffins and many more!

We had a discussion this morning about Breakfast Recipes,
in this current world.

Today I am going to touch on Apple pie, whole wheat bread,
chocolate muffins, porridge, pumpkin pie and more,
when possible.

Shall we start with the pies?

Green Apple Pie

Ingredients for Plain pastry
240g flour
1 teaspoon salt
110g butter
6 tablespoons iced water (about)
a. Mix and sift dry ingredients.

b. Add butter, cutting it into small cubes,
with 2 knives through the flour.

c. Add water carefully, a tablespoon a time.
Mix the dough with a spatula.

d. Cover and chill the dough,
for 1 hour before rolling.

e. Roll out to a thin dough and let it slip,
in the bottom crust. Don't stretch it.

f. Prick the dough with many holes.

Ingredients for Apple Pie Filings
5 tart apples (diced)
300g sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
3 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 tablespoons butter
Little sugar

a. Mix the apples with sugar,
cinnamon, flour.

b. Add vanilla and pour into the pie pan.

c. Dot with butter, and fill,
in the crust.

d. Brush with cream, and sprinkle,
with granulated sugar.

e. Bake in a 230°C or 446°F oven,
for 10 minutes, then reduce heat,
to 175°C or 347°F and bake,
for 45 minutes.

f. Serve warm with cheese.


I love whole wheat bread. I have them,
for my breakfast everyday.

Whole Wheat Bread One

600g whole wheat flour
60g wheat germ
625 ml fresh yeast water (room temperature)

a. Put all dry ingredients in a mixing bowl.

b. Rub in yeast water, and mix well.

c. Rest at a warm place, for 2 to 3 hours.

d. Rub in several balls.

e. Brush some vegetable oil on the bread doughs.

f. On strong fire, steam for 25 minutes.

It can go with any types of bread spreads.
I love to be simple, most of the time just go with butter.
Other time, I add slices of fresh strawberries,
or tomatoes in between.

Whole Wheat Bread Two

240g whole wheat flour
50g wheat sprouts
1 tablespoon walnuts (sliced)
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon olive oil
375 ml soy milk
2 teaspoons raisins

a. Mix milk with the rest of ingredients to paste.
Except oil and raisins.

b. Bush oil to the steamer, and place the dough,
into it.

c. Cover and steam for 15 minutes,
on strong fire.

d. Off fire, remove the cover,
and add the raisins.

e. Cover the steamer for another 10 minutes,
onlow fire.


Quick Oat Bread for breakfast recipes?

240g oat flour
1 teaspoon salt
4 teaspoons baking powder
250 ml milk
1 egg (well beaten)
2 tablespoons molasses or corn syrup
2 tablespoons olive oil

a. Mix and sift all dry ingredients.

b. Preheat oven to 180°C or 356°F.

c. Add gradually milk, egg,
molasses, and oil.

d. Bake in greased bread pan,
for 25 minutes.

e. Slice when it is cold.

Note: When you bake them in muffin pan,
then they are Oat Flour Muffins.


Buckwheat Muffins for breakfast recipes?

250 ml milk
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon oil
4 teaspoons baking powder
2 tablespoons syrup
90g buckwheat flour
2 eggs (slightly beaten)
150g ground rolled oats

a. Add oil, syrup, and eggs to milk.

b. Sift all dry ingredients together.

c. Combine mixtures, stirring lightly.

d. Bake in grease muffin pans in 230°C,
or 446°F oven, for 20-30 minutes.

Chocolate Muffins (12 Servings)

90g butter (melted)
375g all purpose flour (sifted)
50g cocoa powder (sifted)
1 teaspoon baking powder
165g brown sugar
1 egg (beaten)
300 ml milk
100g white chocolate (diced)
90g milk chocolate (diced)
Dried almonds (optional)

a. Place paper cups in the 12 muffins pan.

b. Mix all ingredients well,
in a large bowl.

c. Preheat 200-210°C or 392-410°F oven,
for 8 minutes.

d. Scoop the dough into the muffin paper cups.

e. Bake the muffins for 20-25 minutes.
Let cool on the rack.

Pumpkins Breakfast recipes-Cheese sandwich

Steamed Bread for breakfast recipes?
Have you eaten before?

120g barley flour (sifted)
60g rice flour
4 teaspoons baking powder (sifted)
1 teaspoon salt
250 ml milk
2 tablespoons honey
1 egg (well beaten)
1 tablespoon oil

a. Mix all dry ingredients.

b. Add gradually milk, honey, egg,
and oil.

c. Fill greased bread pan 2/3 full.
Cover and steam 1.5 hours.

Breakfast Cakes

2 eggs (well beaten)
250 ml milk
120g all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon butter
Salt to taste

a. Beat all ingredients together.

b. Melt butter in a baking cup.

c. Add a large spoonful of mixture,
in the cup.

d. Place baking cup in a 180°C,
or 356°F preheated oven, and bake,
for 20 minutes until they pop-over.

Berry Muffins (6 servings)

170g butter
110g sugar
1 egg white (beaten)
1 egg yolk (beaten)
180g all purpose flour
2.5 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
125 ml milk
1/2 cup canned loganberries (well drained)

a. Cream butter and sugar together.

b. Beat them in the egg yolk.

c. Sift all dry ingredients together,
and add alternately with milk to the mixture.

d. Add berries and fold in egg white.

e. Bake in muffin pan at preheated 190 °C,
or 374°F oven for 20-25 minutes.

Ingredients for one serving
2 tablespoons rolled oats (soak over night)
4 tablespoons water (room temperature)
1 tablespoon nuts (seeds or walnuts)
1 fruit (cut small))
1 teaspoon molasses (optional)

Mix all together, and serve.


Try this Special breakfast recipes?

Wheat sprouts (cooked or uncooked)

a. Soak the wheat seeds over night,
in a bowl of room temperature water.

b. The following day, pour away the water.

c. Cover the bowl with a plate,
and rest for 2 days.

d. Eat raw with raisins.

Brown Rice Porridge

50g Brown rice
1 sweet potato
250 ml water
ginger strips to taste

a. Soak rice over night.

b. Add water and cook with sweet potato,
and ginger.


Red Beans Porridge

2 tablespoons adzuki beans
2 tablespoons glutinous rice
150 ml water

a. Soak rice and beans over night.

b. Drain them and add water.

c. Cook for about 1 hour.

Note: 2-3 slices of American ginseng,
may be added during the cooking.
