I love cakes. My cake recipes are unique,
and they have sentimental values.
They are overall very special.

Banana cake is the first cake that I made,
when I started learning cake making,
during the school days. It is very simple, low cost,
and delicious. All my family members love it.

Carrot cake recipe was taught by my mum.
It contains very simple ingredients, and easy to make.
We could never forget its aroma.

Our Birthday cakes are simple, unique, elegant,
and most wonderful. Yummy...

This are my private collections. I hope,
that you will like them.

Banana Cake

150g sugar
150g salted butter
3 eggs
1 teaspoon baking powder
200g plain flour
1 banana (mashed with 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon)
50g walnuts
24 cm baking tin
Preheat 180°C oven or 356°F,
for 8 minutes

a. Mix sugar and butter in mixer, till smooth.

b. Add eggs, one at a time. And beat well.

c. Add flour and baking powder. And mix even.

d. Blend in banana, and walnuts lightly.

e. Pour into the baking tin.

f. Place it in the oven, on the middle shelf,
and bake for 50-55 minutes.

Note: You may add cocoa powder, when desired.

Birthday cakes are always attached with lots of love.
Any cake recipe can make a lovely Birthday cake.

I have not many birthday celebrations before.
I remembered I ever received one little muffin cake,
with a little candle on top of it.

It came with lots of love from my mum. The cake,
was simple, and it tasted great!

I would like you to share some of my favourite recipes here,
with you.

Tiramisu Strawberry-cake Cheesecake recipes

Apple Coffee Cake

2 apples (diced)
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

2 large eggs
200 ml vegetable oil
62.5 ml brewed coffee
1.5 teaspoons Rum extract

300g plain flour (shifted)
220g caster brown sugar
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
150g Raisins and roasted almonds

a. Mix apples and cinnamon powder, in a mixing bowl.

b. Add eggs, oil, coffee, and rum, mix lightly.

c. Add the rest gradually in, and mix well.

d. Preheat oven at 180°C or 356°F.

e. Butter the 24 cm round baking tray.

f. Pour them in the baking tray, and bake for 1 hour.
(cake tester comes out clean)

Note: This cake is quite heavy. My family love it.
I made this many times.

When your Birthday falls on a special day,
then you may make a special Birthday Cake.

Halloweèn Cake

A plain cake batter

a. Cover the bottom of individual cake dish,
with cake batter.

b. Place a prepared emblem in the center of each,
and cover with batter.

c. Fillings dishes slightly less than 2/3 full.

d. Bake in 180-190 °C or 356-374 °F oven,
till browned and firm to touch.

e. When almost cold, remove from dishes,
and cover with boiled frosting.

f. Let threads of frosting fall over the top.

g. While the frosting is still soft,
stick a little orange-coloured candle on the top,
and press a black-cat cut-out against one side.



a. Sterilise mini rings, coins, dolls (no lead toys),
in hot boiling water.

b. Dry and wrap closely in waxed pepper.


I remembered my mum made carrot cakes often,
in the week-ends or holidays. It had taken quite a bit,
of her time and work, in order to present the most delicious dish,
to us. Sofar, I have yet to find another better recipe.

Chinese Carrot Cake Recipe

Ingredients A
8-10 Dry mushrooms
5 dry scallops
3 Chinese dry sausages
10 small onions (grated)
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1/4 teaspoon white pepper
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon light soy sauce

a. Wash and soak the mushrooms,
and scallops in the warm water,
until soft. Drain it,
and cut them into dice.

b. Heat pan hot, add oil,
and fry first the cloves till fragrant.

c. Then fry the sausages, scallops,
and mushrooms till all fragrant.

d. Add in salt, pepper, and soy sauce,
and mix well.

Ingredients B
600g Rice flour
250 ml hot water
a. Put flour in a steaming tray.

b. Pour hot water little at a time,
in the flour. Stir it constantly, till it become,
a smooth paste.

Ingredients C
1500g White carrots
1000g Red carrots
1/2 teaspoon sugar
a. Wash and grate the carrots into very thin strips,
with the grater.

b. Cook them in a pan, till soft.
Stir in sugar.

a. Pour the hot carrots into the half cooked cake paste.

b. Add the rest of the ingredients,
and place the tray in the steamer.

c. Steam on strong fire, for 30 minutes.

d. Remove from fire, and cool it.

Note: A pair of glove is necessary,
when you handle the white carrots.

a. You may eat it, when it is a little cool.
b. You may store it in the fridge,
when it is total cold.
c. You may cut it into squares,
after cool. Fry it, and eat with chilli sauce.
