Crockpot Recipes plus Chop Suey, Oxtail Soup and Beef Ribs Are Ready For You!
Roast Beef Ribs
2 or 3 rib standing roast
a. Place the ribs in a uncovered pan,
without water. Fat side up.
b. Place in 260-274°C oven and sear,
for 20 to 30 minutes until lightly brown.
c. Reduce heat to 180°C or 356°F and continue cooking,
until to your taste.
A 3 rib roast mostly required 15 minutes.
To be rare, 18 minutes to be medium,
and 20 minutes to be well done.
375g macaroni (cooked)
500g ground round steak
250g cheese (cut fine)
4 small onions
1 canned tomato soup
Salt and pepper
a. Heat butter, add onions and meat,
b. Add soup and cheese.
c. Season with cayenne, salt and pepper.
d. Add macaroni and let it simmer,
for 30 minutes.
Oxtail Soup One
1 tablespoon butter
Pepper and salt
a. Chop the oxtail into small pieces.
b. Set on fire with butter and stir,
c. Pour off the fat and add broth to taste.
d. Boil gently until the pieces of tail,
are well cooked.
e. Season with pepper and salt and tomatoes.
f. Boil the whole for 15 minutes,
Note: When using water instead of broth,
season with carrot, onion, turnip, and parsley.
Oxtail Soup Two
A head celery
2 carrots (sliced)
125g lean ham
(cut very thin)
250 ml cold water
1500 ml water
Half a head of celery
(boiled and cut into small pieces)
a. Cut up 2 ox-tails.
b. Separating them at he joints.
c. Put them into a stew-pan with all the ingredients,
and the cold water.
d. Stir it over a quick fire for a while to extract,
the flavour of the herbs. You may see the pan is covered,
with a glaze.
e. Pour in 1500 ml water.
f. Skim it well, and transfer it to the crock-pot,
and simmer slowly for about 3-4 hours, till the tails are tender.
g. Remove them from the pot, strain the soup.
h. Stir in flour to thicken it.
i. Add 200 ml of pot wine, the ketsup,
and half a head of small celery pieces.
j. Put the pieces of tail back into the crock-pot,
with the strained soup.
k. Boil it up for a few minutes,
Oxtail Soup Three
1500g lean beef
6000 ml water
1 large onion (diced)
1 tablespoon salt
1 celery root (diced)
A Sprig of parsley
a. Split and cut the ox-tails into small pieces.
b. Put meat and ox-tail into soup pot.
c. Pour over water and salt and cook 3 hours.
d. Add vegetables and cook about 1 hour.
e. When the stock reduce to half,
strain and serve hot.
Clear Beef Stock
2500g shin or shank of beef
(half meat and half bone)
5000 ml cold water
2 teaspoonfuls salt
a. Remove skin from the beef.
b. Break the bones and cut the meat,
into small pieces.
c. Add cold water and salt.
d. Let it boil slowly and simmer,
below the boiling point for 6 to 8 hours.
e. When the meat fall from the bones,
strain and cool quickly.
f. When cold, skim off the fat.
Simple Beef Soup
Salt and pepper
a. Heat the beef stock and season,
with salt and pepper and a little pasley.
b. Serve hot.
Special Beef Soup
1 small onion (cut fine)
4000 ml beef stock
1 bay leaf
1 stalk of celery
2 sprigs of parsley
A small bouquet sweet herbs
10 pepper corns
a. Add ingredients to the stock,
and boil gently for 15 minutes.
b. Strain through strain cloth,
This recipes are suitable for all slow-cookers,
and fire-less pots.
When using an crock-pot, you have to follow the instructions,
from the manufacturing. Some need to pre-heat, others not.
