Firm Tofu Recipes
(Chinese Style)

Deep Fried Tofu

2 pieces of tofu
2 tablespoons flour
2 tablespoons corn flour
1 teaspoon coriander (fine chopped)
2 tablespoons ham (diced)
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon Pepper
2 drops of sesame oil
1/4 teaspoon light soy sauce
1/4 teaspoon sugar
1 egg yolk

a. Combine all and mix well.

b. Spoon the mixture into a pan,
of deep hot oil and fry to a golden colour.

c. Serve hot with chilli sauce.


Baked Tofu

2 pieces silken tofu
1 piece dried seasweed
2 tablespoons salad sauce
2 teaspoons sesame seeds
1 tesapoon olive oil

a. Rinse and dry the tofu.

b. Cut the tofu into strips.

c. Season with salad sauce for 20 minutes.

d. Cut the seaweed in strips.

e. Wrap around each pieces of tofu,
with seaweed.

f. Sprinkle with seasame seeds.

g. Bake in a 180°C or 356°F oven,
for about 25-30 minutes.
