Lemon Chicken in Casserole

Lemon Chicken Recipes

Lemon or Orange Chicken

Ingredients A
1 whole chicken
A few slices of bacon
3/4 lemon rinds or orange rinds

Ingredients B
1.5 teaspoons ginger juice
1.5 teaspoons wine
2 teaspoons dark soy sauce
2 teaspoons light soy sauce
2 teaspoons sugar
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon sesame oil
1.5 teaspoons corn flour

Ingredients C
3 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
3 tablespoon sugar
85 ml lemon juice

a. Wash, drain and wipe dry chicken.

b. Split chicken into 2 halves.

c. Put them in a strainer without cover.

d. Dry it in the refrigerator for about 2 hours.

e. Chop chicken into pieces.

f. Add seasoning and marinate for 20 minutes.

g. Arrange the bacons on the bottom,
of the preheated earthen pot.

h. Spread over half of the lemon rinds.

i. Place the chicken pieces on top.

j. Add the ingredients C,
and the remaining lemon rinds.

k. Bring to boil and cover with a lid.

l. Braise for 30 minutes on low heat,
until the brasing sauce is reduced substantially.

m. Dish up and serve.

Note: Chicken weighs about 1300g.
