Sour Dough Starter
500 ml warm water
1 tablespoon sugar or honey
1 tablespoon dry yeast
a. Mix all ingredients lightly,
in a extra large bowl.
b. Cover with teacloth, place it at a clean,
and warm place.
c. Mix them well, and turn all liquid,
into the dough. Mix it once a day.
About 2 to 5 days.
d. Until you get the sour aroma from the dough.
Then it is ready for use.
e. Keep the starter in a tightly closed container.
f. When you have used up 0.5 cup of starter,
then you have to stir in 1/2 cup of flour,
and 1/2 cup of water.
g. Place the starter at a warm place,
for 12 hours.
h. After that you may store the starter,
in the refrigerator.
i. This process can repeat, and store,
for unlimited time.
Sourdough Bread Recipe
600g whole wheat flour
60g wheat germ
625 ml yeast water
a. Mix flour and yeast water well.
b. Place at a warm place to rise,
for 2-3 hours.
c. Roll into sticks.
d. Cut into several portions and roll them,
e. Brush olive oil upon the balls.
f. Steam for about 25 minutes.
